Thresholds Collection

-The Time Traveling Soul-

Thresholds explores the soul as light moving through the structures of time. Rooted in the quantum understanding that matter is light at varying densities, these paintings map the soul’s transitions between states — its descent into form (birth), its ascent back into luminosity (death), and its continual expansion beyond the limits of linear experience (ascension).

What appears on the canvas as radiance, gravity, or wing-like motion is the visual echo of deeper energetic events: light compressing into coherence, dispersing into spaciousness, or reorganizing itself as it passes through different timelines and dimensions. These are portraits of the time traveling soul.

In this series, abstraction becomes a method of revealing processes normally inaccessible to the eye — the before, the between, and the beyond of a lifetime. My aim is that each painting behaves like a dimensional container where light emerges and reorganizes itself, capturing the soul in transit between identities, lifetimes, and layers of existence.

Drawing from the lineage of Abstract Expressionism and resonating with the spiritual abstraction of Hilma af Klint and early Suprematist lines of thought, Thresholds approaches painting as a quantum inquiry. 

At its core, this collection is an exploration of the soul as transitioning energy:
light entering matter, light leaving matter, and light witnessing itself.
Each painting is a portal into the physics of identity — a glimpse into the way consciousness travels through time, reflecting the reality that we are all here as time traveling souls.

Thresholds is a collection I began in 2019 and continue to expand. New works are always on the horizon.
