The Moments Collection

These paintings emerged from a subconscious place. Snapshots of pivotal, defining experiences.

The moment I knew what I had to do, even though I knew it would be difficult.
The moment I realized I’d made it, and felt the ensuing sense of relief.
All the moments I fell in love, and let go of everything else.

We all share moments like these—uncooked human experiences that move us, while at the same time shaping the roads we take.

For me, these are meditative works. They arrive almost on their own, with what I detect as a sense of urgency and surrender.
I don’t paint them so much as I let them appear.
